Holy Cow Veterinary Services is owned by Dr. Brittney (LaDue) Rossow, DVM. Dr. Brittney grew up on a cattle ranch near Bison, SD and later married Herreid native Charlie Rossow and moved to the area. Dr. Brittney is a 2021 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked at a mixed animal veterinary practice right after graduation before moving back home to South Dakota. Brittney has a large range of experience in working with cattle, small ruminants, dogs, cats, and horses. In school, her focus was food animal but knew she would be required to have the ability to work with a variety of species due to being in a rural area. For a long time it has been Dr. Brittney’s goal to start her own practice. She and Charlie look forward to working with all the wonderful animal owners and to serve the Herreid area and surrounding communities!
